These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, services, content, and any related offerings provided by sterstydril.click (“sterstydril.click,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a vocal recording studio operating in Canada.
By accessing or using the website sterstydril.click, contacting us, booking any session, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, clients, performers, producers, engineers, and any other person interacting with our services.
2. Scope of Services
sterstydril.click provides vocal recording studio services, which may include, without limitation:
- Vocal recording sessions;
- Session engineering and basic audio support;
- Studio booking and time-based rental access;
- Audio file delivery and session-related communications;
- Optional add-on services such as editing, comping, tuning, or mixing, where separately agreed in writing.
Any specific service scope, session duration, deliverables, turnaround time, pricing, and technical requirements will be confirmed in a booking confirmation, invoice, quote, or written communication. We reserve the right to refuse service where we reasonably determine that the requested work is unsafe, unlawful, technically infeasible, or inconsistent with our studio policies.
3. User Obligations and Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree that you will:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking or communicating with us;
- Comply with all studio rules, safety instructions, and reasonable directions from our staff;
- Arrive on time for scheduled sessions;
- Ensure that any material you bring, submit, or request us to record does not infringe the rights of any third party;
- Obtain all necessary permissions, licenses, releases, and consents for any recordings, performances, or materials you provide;
- Not engage in illegal, abusive, disruptive, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or unsafe conduct while using our services;
- Not introduce malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with our website, systems, or studio equipment;
- Be solely responsible for backing up any files you submit or receive, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
You acknowledge that failure to comply with these obligations may result in cancellation of a session, refusal of service, loss of deposits, and/or liability for damages caused to us or third parties, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Payment Terms and Conditions
All fees, rates, and charges will be presented in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. By booking a session or ordering services, you agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and additional charges disclosed to you.
- Deposits: We may require a non-refundable deposit to confirm a booking.
- Full Payment: Full payment may be required before the start of a session, upon completion, or in accordance with the invoice terms provided.
- Late Payments: Overdue balances may be subject to late fees, administrative charges, collection costs, and interest where permitted by applicable law and disclosed in advance where required.
- Chargebacks: You agree not to initiate a chargeback except in the case of actual billing error or unauthorized transaction. Any improper chargeback may result in suspension of services and recovery of related costs.
- Taxes: Applicable federal, provincial, and other taxes may be added where required by law.
We may revise our pricing at any time for future bookings. Price changes do not affect already confirmed bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations and refunds are subject to the following terms, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:
- Client Cancellations: If you cancel a session, any deposit may be forfeited, depending on the timing of the cancellation and the resources reserved for your booking.
- Late Cancellations / No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled session or cancellation within a short notice period may result in the full session fee being charged.
- Studio Cancellations: If we must cancel due to equipment failure, staffing issues, safety concerns, or force majeure, we may offer a rescheduled session or refund amounts paid for the cancelled portion, at our discretion and in compliance with applicable law.
- Refunds: Completed services are generally non-refundable. Refunds, if any, will be assessed based on the specific circumstances, the portion of services already performed, and applicable consumer protection laws in Canada and British Columbia.
Any dispute regarding billing or service quality should be reported to us promptly using the contact information below so that we may investigate in good faith.
6. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, sterstydril.click and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of our website or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to sterstydril.click for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or such lesser amount as may be required by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, limit, or restrict any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any rights that cannot be waived under consumer protection legislation.
